Detailled description
The story begins with Diego's famous injury in a match against Athletic Club Bilbao in 1983. It continues until his retirement from the national team in 1994, after testing positive for drugs during the World Cup in the USA.
You'll get to know Diego Maradona intimately through a number of key episodes in his life: his recovery from a broken ankle, his move to Naples, his preparation for three World Cups (Mexico 1986, Italy 1990 and USA 1994), his drug problems, his extramarital fatherhood and his work as coach of the Argentine national team (2008/2010), where he taught Leo Messi to take free-kicks.
